Seeing as you are being so thoughtful. Why is that the family of extreme and not so extreme sports, say and take comfort in saying they died doing something they love? You must have noticed that. They are lauded for it even.
Junkies die every day dying doing something they love, their families weep and the community pillories them.

I don’t necessarily think it’s bravery… I think its more like stupidity that drives these people. Anyone with a brain in their head knows the things they’re doing is bad for them whether it be drugs or gambling or selling sexual favors… but they don’t give a shit. They do it anyways because they don’t care about whats gonna happen in the end. Its sad really.

the problem is I’m not out of balance. It’s those with alcohol, sex and drug addictions who are.
the only way to reset the balance is to have a massive DMT trip to re-set the reward pathway, I recommend trying ayahuasca, (it’s an herbal brew not just some crazy chemical concoction) if you aren’t brave enough to get the ingredients and illegally mix the brew yourself you can always go to south america for about $500 and be an ayahuasca tourist. I highly recommend the experience.
it’s a part of our biology, literally the reward pathway of the brain is set up to make poeple easily addicted to whatever it is they glom onto. The reason is we need Dopamine for our brains to function normally, and if you upset the balance of the Dopamine in your brain you have to feed it constantly, just to maintain that same level of happiness, worst part of it all is, for every up there must be a down.
This is the nature of mankind, the modern age. We all are focused on getting that tingle down our spine, those chemicals that give us that high. No matte what. There are very few that throw this away so that they can live and actually think. I am one of them.
